“Daegan Smith” How To or How Not to do Business Online?

Online research has become a routine part of my average day. I have read an endless stream of articles, watched videos, and signed up for a pile of information from every online source imaginable. The result of my efforts is a list of names of those who really standout and clearly have good content in the information they share.

Daegan Smith stands out as a great example of what can be done with a consistent, focused effort. One of the things that impressed me the most is the fact that he reveals his true identity in his marketing effort.

I have seen so many people trying to be someone they are not in network marketing and frankly, that is a real turnoff. I believe that one of the most attractive qualities we can offer is honest transparency.

There appears to be this notion that we can use the internet to reinvent ourselves and fool people into believing that we have all of the answers. The folly in this begins with the fact that no one has all of the answers. The best of the best online marketers work in teams because they are aware of the fact that it is better to recognize all of the different talents that combine to be more effective.

Those, like Daegan, who have been very successful, will tell you that they have mentors that they credit for their achievements. You can remain true to yourself and, at the same time, emulate the behaviors of those who you look to as role models.

One of the most remarkable qualities I observed when watching one of Daegan’s training videos, was the focus on basics. It is easy to get all caught up in complicated schemes and strategies. Consistent application of the basics is the cornerstone of real leadership.

I have watched literally thousands of people come and go in network marketing. Those who drop out tend to quit without establishing themselves in the basics. Reality dictates that it takes a little time to learn the business and build a foundation. All of the 6 and 7 figure income earners have a story about the years they put into learning the business.

Give yourself a chance, follow the example of people like Daegan, hang in there and network marketing can and will pay dividends that most people only dream of.
