Healthcare vs. Wealth Care

Never in my life have I seen such craziness in the economic landscape. Millions of Americans are concerned about their future. Healthcare reform is currently at the forefront of real concerns for those who are approaching retirement age. From every perspective we see that the cost of healthcare is going up and not down. We can only surmise, base on what we know about the current bill in congress, that we are in jeopardy of seeing a decrease in quality care as we know it. If we examine our own history we recognize that when government gets bigger our services become smaller. We tend to lose our freedom of choice and spend more money in the process.
So; what does all this have to do with our business choices? The mere fact that you are reading this article is a signal that you are seeking information regarding your choices as you move forward. Employers are trimming their benefit packages because they cannot sustain their current costs of doing business. I don’t believe we can rely on business as usual to firm up our future security. It is time to get creative in our challenges where our health and wealth are concerned.
Our concerns about our health can be greatly diminished if we can first address our wealth issues.
